Environmental Corridor Evaluations

Environmental corridors are designated resources typically occurring along wetlands, streams, and in wooded areas that provide open space and natural habitat connections for scenic, recreational and ecological benefits. Local municipalities and regional planning organizations may restrict land uses within these corridors. NRC is experienced in accurately identifying, delineating, and assessing environmental corridors.

We highly recommend identifying environmental corridors early in your project planning stages in order to take full advantage of design opportunities and address any land use restrictions associated with this often overlooked resource.
