A wetland delineation involves identifying and marking the boundary between wetlands and uplands based on assessments of vegetation, soils, and hydrology. NRC has numerous, highly experienced and respected wetland professionals that routinely conduct wetland delineations throughout the Midwest. |

From small individual lots; to large one hundred plus acre properties; to hundreds of miles of utility corridor, NRC has the experience and fire power to effectively and efficiently delineate wetlands to meet your projects needs.
Specific environmental regulations apply to most activities that affect wetlands or activities within close proximity to wetlands. Often wetland delineations are required for projects that involve land-disturbing activities. NRC recommends that wetland delineations are completed as early in the project planning stages as possible in order to account for federal, state, and/or local wetland regulatory programs.
NRC has more Wisconsin professionally assured wetland delineators than any other wetland consulting firm in the Midwest. This further illustrates our dedication to providing our clients with superior professional wetland services. Assured wetland professionals are selected by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) based on a comprehensive review of prior wetland delineation work, experience, education, and training. While wetland delineations completed by assured individuals may not eliminate review by regulatory agencies, assured delineations help maintain positive momentum in Wisconsin waterway and wetland permit decisions.
