The use of Global Position Systems (GPS) is an efficient method of locating and mapping environmental resources.  NRC field staff routinely complete GPS surveys to locate wetlands & waterways, environmental corridors, threatened & endangered species habitat, and other natural resources.   Our GIS specialists incorporate this site-specific information into geospatial databases and generate professional, customized maps for displaying the spatial arrangement of surveyed resources.
